Where'd The Ball Go?

Here are some school kids playing a round of miniature golf at Sir Gooney's Family Fun Center in Chattanooga. Sir Gooney's has miniature golf, go-karts, laser tag and bumper boats. This picture seemed appropriate because of the miniature golf connection to Chattanooga. In 1927, Garnet Carter of Lookout Mountain, Chattanooga patented Tom Thumb Golf and in 1930, the First National Ton Thumb Open Miniature Golf Tournament was played on Lookout Mountain.
