Doorways Theme Day

Finding an interesting doorway in Chattanooga was harder than I thought it would be. I took several pictures but decided to go with this one because it is "unique".

Doorways were not one of Greenville's photo opportunities either. But sometimes it is good to have a challenge. Good choice with your unique photo.

Yes, good choice! Is it a house? A residence? Is it safe??? ;-)

unique indeed! reminds me of prisons.. also the number above the 'cell' jus adds more to the effect... what is it actually?

Of all the doorways I looked at today, I like this one the best! I love old, worn, almost industrial type things, and this is right up my alley (I'm kinda assuming this was taken in an alley).

I love the way you took the challenge. This is not a doorway I would want to come home to, but I will never forget it or the photographer.

Really wonderful choice. I echo Vancouver's comments. Ultra reality like we see all the time but choose not to notice. You bring it front and center. That's art. Kudo's,

This wasn't a house or a jail...it is a very mundane lawnmower repair service!!

Old, rusty, full of color declinations : LOVELY SHOT !

Watch how the bottom of the door gives white, grey, green, brown tonalities and textures. GREAT !
