Dixie BBQ

Barbeque is a southern tradition. I had never even had it until we moved to the southern U.S. To put it simply, it's shredded pork mixed with a spicy BBQ sauce and served on a bun. I'm sure there's more to it and people have their own secret sauces but that's it in it's most basic form. Some people (me included) also add cole slaw to the bun with the meat and sauce. A lot of the BBQ places around Chattanooga look similar to this one. I don't know how the food is at this place (or any of the others scattered around) because I don't care for BBQ. I'll eat it if it's free but I don't go out of my way to buy it. If there's a function going on in Chattanooga and there's free food you can pretty much bet it will be BBQ!
