To celebrate 100th Daily Photo Blog

What has this statue got to do with celebrating the 100th DP Blog? Well, Greenville Daily Photo proposed that we lift our glass in a toast for this occasion and what's better than our very own Tennessee Sour Mash Whiskey aka Jack Daniels. This statue is of Jack Daniels. I took this picture when we toured the Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchberg.

Personally I don't drink whiskey (don't like the taste) but I can highly recommend taking the tour. It was great fun! At the end of the tour you get...a lemonade. The distillery is located in one of Tennessee's dry counties, meaning no liquor can be sold. But, the state legislature did make an exception for the distillery and they are allowed to sell a commemorative bottle after the tour. But not on Sunday which, much to my husband's chagrin, is when we took the tour.

You can get more info at Jack Daniels web page.

Happy 100 to all of us.
I like the way you twist the 100 celebration-theme and make it something else. Very clever. I like it a lot!

Happy 100!

I took the JD tour a few years ago and also highly recommend it. The setting is so beautiful and the process very interesting. Great photo.
