First Day of School
I took this picture this morning of kids getting on the school bus. Today is the first day of school in Hamilton County. I know this seems early to other parts of the country but some schools in nearby counties and north Georgia have already started.

Its the first day of school in San Antonio as well. I drove in past a huge fleet of school buses getting ready to pick up the little students.
hi.. here in Finland, school starts tomorrow (15.8). How early do they start school there?
kaa- did you mean how early in the day? My son is in high school and goes at 7 AM but the younger grades (1-5) go later, around 8:30 AM. They all went back today.
In California where I grew up, we started in September. I don't know if they've changed since then, because the last time I got on a yellow bus it was another century. :D
I remember when I was a young girl...i love first days of school! Imagine all of your things are new...new lunchbox, new pencils, crayons, and so many others! I love it!
Though our schools here in Manila start in June =)
thanx for the info.. 7am seems rather too early. How long are the sch days?
It cannot really have success, I suppose so.
