Summertime and the living is easy
I took this picture at the entrance to one of our grocery stores. I thought it really captured the essence of summer--at least for me. Outdoor seating, tropical plants and watermelons. Lots and lots of watermelons. Unfortunately. the melons this summer haven't been the best. Neither has the corn. They say it's lack of rain.

Corn on the cob seems plentiful enough on our side of the pond this year and good quality too. Maybe we had all your rain!
