Kangaroos in Chattanooga!

Yes, there's Kangaroos in Chattanooga but they're not the animal kind. They're gas station and convenience stores. They used to be called Golden Gallon then the chain was sold and they were all repainted and renamed Kangaroo. No only can you buy gas and get your car washed, you can buy milk, soda, beer and even Subway sandwiches.

Quite an extraordinary name for a gas station. Are the convenience stores over there also very expensive? Over here you pay much more at these stores than at the local supermarkets.

I never heard of it. We don't have that chain out here. I wonder who owns it.

Edwin - LOL!!

Dawn -- yes, everything is more expensive except for gallons of milk. They're usually a few cents cheaper than most grocery stores. Sometimes they have sales on cans of soda and then they're cheaper.

Natalis -- BiLo Food Store chain used to own them but sold them. I don't know who owns them now.
