Tennessee Aquarium

I took this picture in front of the Tennessee Aquarium. They have a lot of fun outdoor areas around the building. They also recently opened a giant expansion to the aquarium, adding a saltwater one so they have both fresh and saltwater ones now.

I love the creeper plants growing from the bridge. The buildings at the back seems as if they can let lots of natural light through the glass.

Wow! That is some very interesting architecture going on there! Nice shot! We've lived here a year now and I still haven't been to visit our local aquarium. When we lived in San Francisco I used to go almost every month (first Wednesdays of the month were free days at the museums and aquarium there). I'd love to see what aquatic creatures get featured in Tenn.

When we first moved to Chattanooga (almost 9 years ago) we bought an annual pass for the aquarium and went several times. We didn't renew the passes but then my son won the DuPont Science Award at his school and besides a placque he got annual passes for the Aquarium so we went some more. But it's been a while since we've gone.
Wish we had free days! I'd definitely go.
