Gone to the dogs
There are doggy bakeries, groomers and I even had a picture of some doggy strollers. This is a doggy day care. Do they have these in other parts of the country? Or is this unique to Chattanooga? I can't imagine that it would be but you never know.

Yep, you bet they have them elsewhere! Here we also have a dog "spa" rather than a kennel, where you leave Fido when you go on vacation. As my boss says, "there's too many people around here with too much money."
My best friend has a "Puggle" (Pug/Beagle Mix) that goes to Doggie Day Care every day.
We have them here in Albuquerque! We also have parks specifically for dogs!
Here in Bloemfontein is one lady who runs a day care centre for pets. She has been in the paper a while ago, that's how I know about it.
We only have some place where you leave them when you go on holiday.
Is this meant for people who work?
So instead of leaving the dog at home, they place it at a day care?
Sounds rather funny to me.
Seattle is a HUGE, I mean, REALLY HUGE dogtown. There are so many doggie daycares, dog walkers, dog specialty shops, it's amazing. Everywhere you go, dogs are welcome--on the bus, in shops, grocery stores, sidewalk cafes even cater to them with bowls of water . Even coffee shops have bowls of dog treats on their counters.
